Here’s the difference:
- A caring person offers empathy, compassion, concern and kindness towards others.
- A nurturing person offers care, compassion, empathy, and kindness along with a safe and non-judgmental space for others to grow.
- A caring person takes responsibility for fulfilling the other person’s needs.
- A nurturing person encourages and empowers the other person to fulfil their own needs.
- Caring fosters codependence and attachments.
- Nurturing fosters independence and connections.
- Caring may be driven by an obligation.
- Nurturing is driven by free will.
- Many care but few nurture.
- Be the one who nurtures!
