who looks inside, awakes "

psychologist & Holistic Coach

Priyanka Kishnani

Years ago, when someone I deeply cared about went through mental health issues, I realised we had a problem with no clear solution. Name it stigma or denial! This led to me realizing that no one should be in a helpless situation the way I was with my loved one. Since then, the intricacies of the human mind have intrigued me.

I firmly believe that our mind is significant and it influences our overall well-being, however, most of us tend to underestimate the power it holds. It is the oblivious thinking that I wish to change on my journey.

As a psychologist and coach, my approach focuses on person-over-pathology, empowering my clients to thrive rather than merely cope. With a rich background in positive psychology and humanistic practices, I believe in highlighting strengths, fostering resilience, and nurturing personal growth.

With nearly 20 years of experience spanning leadership, coaching, and psychological practice, I work with individuals to navigate life transitions, set meaningful goals, and build emotionally fulfilling lives. My approach blends evidence-based psychology with practical, real-world strategies, creating a safe and structured space for insight, growth, and change.

I have conducted 3,000+ consultations and delivered 5,000+ hours of client work across 40+ locations globally, including recent collaboration as a Behavioral Wellness Consultant with 500+ Defence Forces Personnel, deepening my understanding of resilience and high-performance functioning.

Trained in psychological assessment and psychotherapy at LTMG Hospital, Sion, and Psychology A Boon Clinic, my academic work includes a thesis on Marital Satisfaction, Mental Health, and Coping in Married Adults.

My academic qualifications include M.A. in Psychology with specialised focus in Clinical Psychology from IGNOU, Delhi as well as Holistic Life Coach Certification from Foundation for Holistic Life Coaching, USA.

I am trained in CBT, REBT, IFS and Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 & 2.

I am also a proud member of the American Psychological Association (APA)

FAQ

Everything You’re Curious About

I work collaboratively with clients to identify their goals, explore limiting beliefs, and develop personalised  strategies for growth and transformation

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, confused about relationships, or struggling with life transitions, therapy can help. You don’t need a crisis to start. Many people come to gain clarity, build coping skills, or improve emotional well-being.

The first session focuses on understanding your concerns, goals, and background. It is a space to talk openly, ask questions, and get a sense of how therapy works. Together, we decide the best way forward.

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Some concerns may need a few focused sessions, while deeper or long standing issues may take longer. The pace and duration are always discussed collaboratively and reviewed periodically.

Yes. Confidentiality is a core ethical principle in therapy practice. Information shared in sessions remains private, except in rare situations where there is risk of harm to you or others or as required by law and professional guidelines.

Are online therapy sessions as effective as in-person sessions?

Yes, online therapy sessions are just as effective as in-person therapy for addressing certain issues. Research studies conducted on online therapy during COVID-19 are affirmative. Online therapy can be a great option when you are looking to avoid a lengthy commute or based in a different location. Online therapy sessions are conducted either on Zoom or Google Meet.

Most clients begin with weekly or fortnightly sessions. Frequency may change over time depending on progress, goals, and personal needs.

I work with teens, adults and couples on concerns including stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional regulation, self-esteem, decision-making, and personal growth. If your concern falls outside my scope, appropriate referrals are provided.

You can book an appointment through WhatsApp, website or email. Once booked, you’ll receive details regarding session format, fees, and policies before your first session.

How does one know when they have to see a therapist/coach?

You might benefit from seeing a therapist/coach when:

  • You don’t feel like yourself
  • Your relationships are suffering
  • You have no control over your thoughts and emotions
  • You need guidance and support with developing strategies to achieve your goals and stay motivated on your path to success
While both involve guidance and support, coaching typically focuses on personal and professional growth and goal achievement, while therapy addresses behavioural/mental health concerns. I combine both coaching and therapy techniques in sessions to enable my clients to experience a more comprehensive and impactful journey of personal and professional growth.
Friends offer invaluable emotional support, companionship, and a sense of belonging. However, therapists/coaches provide professional guidance, objective perspectives, and specialized tools for personal growth and well-being.
Medications are prescribed by Psychiatrists who are Medical Doctors and not Therapists or Coaches. As a therapist and coach, I am familiar with medications, but I cannot prescribe medications to you. However, I can communicate with your doctor or refer you to a Psychiatrist with your consent if I feel like it might benefit you.

The first session typically involves an initial assessment to understand your concerns and goals. We will discuss your history, current challenges, and treatment options. You can make a note of specific topics and issues you want to discuss with your therapist/coach to get the most out of your session.
The number of sessions needed is determined based on the issues and/or goals of the client. The duration of each session on average is 50 minutes and the frequency of sessions can vary from once a week or less depending on the needs of the client and therapy progress.
